Applications
Rhodamine B has been used to prepare fluorescent probes for iron detection
It can be used for fluorescent labeling of nanoparticles and subsequent detection of nanoparticle uptake in cells
Is used as a dye in ELISA, fluorescence microscopy, and flow cytometry
