Applications
4-Methyl-1H-pyrazole is used as an antidote in methanol and ethylene glycol poisoning. It is also employed as an alcohol dehydrogenase inhibitor. It acts a ligand in coordination chemistry. Further, it serves as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
