Applications

Silver nitrate, 1.0N Standardized Solution is used for volumetric analysis in laboratories. It is widely used as an analytical reagent owing to its immediate reaction with halide ions forming insoluble precipitate of silver(I) halides.

Notes

Sensitive to light, store in light resistant containers. Color changes to grey or greyish black on exposure to light or air in the presence of organic matter.Other References :
