It can also be used in the identification of fungi and yeasts in parallel with their cellular morphology or in methods of mirocultivation in slides. |

Preparation Method | Suspend 24 g of the medium in one liter of distilled or deionized water. Mix well and heat with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute. Sterilize at 121 °C (15 lbs. of pressure) for 15 minutes. |
Solubility | Soluble in 2.4% distilled or deionized water on boiling (very, very light amber, clear to very slightly opalescent without significant precipitation solution). |
