Applications
Ideal for removal of secondary antibody after detection of highly abundant targets. Nitrocellulose Stripping Buffer may perform well with nitrocellulose membranes or antibody-dye conjugates. It is also employed for nucleic acid and protein related blotting works.
Notes
This buffer contains 0.5X SSC and 100 mM EDTA at pH 8.0. To strip the membrane dilute buffer to 1X in water. Warm solution to 50-70°C. Perform 2 to 3 changes (15 minutes) of the warmed 1X stripping buffer.
