Applications
Palladium is used as catalyst. It is also used in jewelry, dentistry, watch making, blood sugar test strips, aircraft spark plugs and in the production of surgical instruments and electrical contacts. It is also used to make professional transverse flutes. The second-biggest application of palladium in electronics is in the manufacture of multilayer ceramic capacitors
