Applications
Ammonium iron(II) sulfate hydrate is widely utilized in analytical chemistry for titration purposes since it is affected lesser by oxygen in the air than iron(II) sulpahte. It is employed to measure high doses of gamma rays by using Fricke’s dosemeter. It is involved in a variety of other Application from nanomaterials to general redox reactions. It is used in the medical field as an antianemic agent for treatment of iron deficiency.
